Terms of Service
Last updated 9 October 2026. By using Quantgrounds you agree to these terms.
1. What Quantgrounds is
Quantgrounds runs stress tests on trading-strategy code and produces a diagnostic score and report. It is an educational and analytical tool. Nothing here is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Simulated results are based on historical data and do not predict future performance.
2. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Scores and reports may contain errors or omissions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantgrounds is not liable for any trading losses or other damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.
3. Your code and your content
- You keep all rights to the code you submit. You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it isn't someone else's proprietary code you aren't permitted to use.
- Submitted code runs once in an isolated sandbox and is not stored; only a fingerprint is retained with a saved report.
- When you publish a report or list it in the Talent Pool, you grant Quantgrounds permission to display that report (and, for the Talent Pool, your contact email) to the audience you selected.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to break, probe or escape the code sandbox, exfiltrate data, or disrupt the service.
- Don't submit malware, illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights.
- Don't attempt to overwhelm the service or bypass rate limits, and don't misrepresent a report's origin.
5. Accounts
Keep your password confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account. Reviewer and administrator roles are granted at our discretion. We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these terms or threaten the service's safety.
6. Availability and changes
The service is currently free and provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, limit or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.
